THE BREATHING OUT PROJECT

nervrom:

I want your sentences.

sentence |ˈsentns|

noun

1 a set of words that is complete in itself, conveying a statement, question, exclamation, or command

THE BREATHING OUT PROJECT is a multi-faceted communication concept that will be explored in three sections: INTIMATE, ANONYMOUS & LOST/FOUND. This art project began as a retort to a boredom-plagued Sunday afternoon with a blank paged yellow notebook and a fine-liner pen.  After becoming fascinated with the way every person who reads or hears it may interpret one question and answer accordingly, I embarked on a quick-written journey of asking a few people many questions. For example - If you ask someone, “When do you feel most refreshed?” One might answer, “I feel the most refreshed after a nice hot shower,” or one might answer, “After jumping into a cold lake.” As well, one might interpret it emotionally and consider they feel the most refreshed when they can sense the snow is about to melt, or perhaps when they’ve learned something new from a surprising source.  While one question, or sentence may be interpreted many ways by many people with the same thought, One sentence begun with a single lettered word opens everything up to interpretation to many people with many different thoughts. So…if you are still with me (thank you!) and you are confused, I’m sorry for not making sense. It’s really very simple, I promise. I just ask that you finish the sentence “I …” and participate in THE BREATHING OUT PROJECT.

If you feel like it, finish “I …” with anything, preferably the first thing that comes to mind, but if you want to let it cook a little longer, that’s okay too.

There are a few ways to contribute*. (Read on after the cut).
